Primary and Secondary School Conference on Interfaith, County Durham SACRE
16th November conference is entitled 'Encountering Expressions of Faith - How do I worship?'
KS2 children will meet people of different faiths and values in workshops where they will be presented with ideas and information. The children will then have an opportunity to ask questions.
18th November conference is entitled, 'A Matter of Life and Death'
Year 9 children will meet people of different faiths and beliefs in a workshop where issues around life and death will be discussed, followed by a question and answer session.

Newcastle Council of Faiths present:
'They're Only Pictures' - a photographic exhibition created from a recent visit to Auschwitz. The pictures will be used to promote discussions around issues such as community cohesion, religious hatred, discrimination and prejudice.
